The next chapter is coming soon!

It has been a fun and exciting time in the Casafrancisco household. It has been just a little over a year since we got married, Ralph got a new job with Chapman University, and next year it’s going be a whole lot more exciting!

Of course with any major announcement we like to add a touch of Disney. Hmmm… “Perhaps, there’s something there that wasn’t there before.”

I am extremely joyed and happy to share with you the news that Kit and I are expecting our first child! We are very excited to become parents and raise this little one. We have known for the past two months and were anxiously waiting to tell all of our friends and family, and we are so glad to share the news now!

We got to share the news with our immediate family at a dinner we had just a couple days after we found out. But the fun thing about it is that we got to record their reactions to the news and it was great to see the excitement in their faces.

We also got to share with some of our friends during our little Friendsmas Party. We were playing Pictionary on our projector, so they thought I was just drawing for the game. I proceeded to draw a girl being pregnant, still no correct guesses. So I began to draw a boy and arrows saying it is me, still no correct guess. Then as I continued to draw some friends finally said it out loud as they waited for others to get it.

Our last big reveal was to our families, and we decided to do so on Christmas Eve. Ralph setup his camera on the second floor pointing down at the living room. After taking a couple real photos he switched it to video mode and on his iPad pulled up the picture of our ultrasound pictures above.

Check out all the reactions in the video below. We can’t wait to meet our little baby and share him/her with all of you. We plan on a future gender reveal party some time after we find out and a baby shower closer to the due date.

Baby ARC coming July 2018!

We have something to share with you all!

We would like to thank our parents, family, and friends for attending our wedding and/or sending us your love, greetings, and prayers. We are really blessed to have such a supporting group of people in our lives. This past Monday we celebrated 1 month of our married life, and we can happily say that we are loving it!

If you have any photos or videos to share with us, please send them to us in some way I’m sure we would love to watch them! If you need our new address, please text or call us or message us on Facebook!

We wanted to also especially thank all of those that have helped us for the wedding in any way, shape, or form. We want to thank John, Tweedy, and Charles of John Cudal Photography for capturing our special day. For the crew at twentyseven studios, Mon and Xerxes, thanks for recording all the fun moments we had between the Ceremony and Reception. I also want to thank Jed for helping run my photo booth for Casa de Photo while I was celebrating the day.

We also wanted to thank our emcees, Ben and Dimples! Thank you for making it so fun for us and our guests. Great job! Thank you to Crisa for helping create our delicious candy bar on the second floor. Thank you for our SFC decorations crew. You guys made it look awesome! A special thanks to our Tita Lani and Tito Rey for making sure our flowers and centerpieces came out to be as magical as they can be!

To all our sponsors, thank you for your guidance, love, and support. You basically are our second parents! We also want to extend our love and thanks to our wedding party for all the help and support for being there for us during the preparation of the wedding..

For our design crew we want to thank Ate Arlene for designing our awesome invitations! We loved them and so did all of our friends and family. I want to thank Annie for helping us create and design our give away Disney inspired name tags. A big thank you also goes to Dimples for helping design and create the posters that we had around the venue for our guests.

But of course, our greatest gratitude and praise go to Our Heavenly Father for making this wonderful day possible!

We got our wedding video from our videographer today and wanted to share it with all of you. We created a reaction video, check it out below, and then you can watch the original using the video below it. Go to this page to check out the photos from the Casa de Photo photo booth: The Story of Us Wedding. And our wedding album from our photographers will be available at this link: The Story of Us Wedding Guest Gallery We also created a simple slideshow of some of our favorite photos from John Cudal Photography.

Save the Date!

November 12, 2016

We have been busy getting all of our wedding details planned and we are continuing to get those checked off our list. We have pretty much mailed out most of our Save the Dates by now with the last batch going out today.

We wish we could invite all of our friends and loved ones! But even if you can’t make it to our big day we hope we can celebrate with you one way or another. To our friends and family, we are still deciding if we are going to be having a wedding shower and we’ll share those details if/when it happens. To our SFC family, we can celebrate during our SFC Harana and we will share that info once planning begins.

Check out our Save the Date themed around our love of Disney in the form of a Disneyland Fast Pass. We sent them out randomly… but there were 5 different colors in total! We hope you like them!

If you wish, you can bookmark this website to stay updated with future information and other wedding details such as invites, RSVPs, booking hotels, and etc. This especially helps for the day of the wedding! Just pull up this website and the address for the church and wedding reception will be one click away! We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!

We got our Wedding Bands!

Kathleen and I are excited that we have picked and received our wedding bands! We absolutely love them! A jeweler named Donald sold us the rings then, we gave it to Goofy for safe-keeping. However, Goofy couldn’t seem to decide where to put them so Chip and Dale grabbed the rings and decided to play with them. Climbing up and down the trees, those silly chipmunks dropped them into Pinocchio’s hands who then showed them off to Jiminy Cricket. Pluto saw Pinocchio and wanted to play tag with him. Pluto chased him and the rings got lost! Pluto felt bad for losing the rings and helped with the search. Sniffing around the grass, Pluto got the rings stuck on his nose! Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!

The Church is Booked!

We are excited to say that we were able to book our church. It was definitely a challenge to set up. We did not get the time that we exactly wanted but we did get the church that we want. The church is very close to the venue, which means it’s also not too far from the hotels in the area. The wedding will be earlier, making it more of an all day celebration.

We are working on trying to find things to do to fill in the time for our loving guests that are willing to spend the day with us from Ceremony to Reception. It will be a good time for everyone, we promise! Hope to share more information very soon!

Reception Venue Booked!

We are excited to share that our Reception Venue is now booked! We won’t reveal the location just yet, but we can’t wait to share our excitement about the venue with you guys! We will share more details with you once we get the last of the major 3 details for the wedding taken care of.

What’s next? We are currently working on booking our church for the wedding. So more details to be shared once that detail is set for us. So once we get that information, we can get to work on our Save The Date information out to all of you!

The Engagement

“On June 20, 2015, I invited family and some close friends to my birthday breakfast. But that was not the only celebration held that morning. I had something else in mind that was a much larger celebration! I took Kit, and our friends and family to Storytellers Cafe at the Grand Californian Hotel in the Downtown Disney District. We all gathered, ate breakfast, and even met a few Disney characters. But the best part of that day is my surprise proposal!”  -Ralph
